WEBSTER - Margaret E. (Hoenig) Ziarko, 89, of 38 Whitcomb St., a former shoe worker, died Saturday in Oakwood Rehabilitation Center after an illness.
Her husband, Peter Ziarko, died in 1965. She leaves a daughter, Margaret A. D'Elia of Sylmar, Calif.; a brother, Andrew S. Hoenig of Thompson; three sisters, Philomena Morse, Anna Steele and Elaine Krommer, all of Webster; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Webster, daughter of Christian and Anna (Zimmerer) Hoenig. She attended Bartlett High School.
Mrs. Ziarko worked in the treeing department at Corbin Shoe Co. for many years before she retired.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Church.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Scanlon Funeral Home, East Main Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. A calling hour is 9 to 10 a.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oakwood Rehabilitation Center, Activity Fund, 11 Pontiac Ave., Webster, MA 01570.
